The smallest ECOFUEGO
A real fire.
On the table.
El Niño puts a real wax flame on a table. 18cm across, 3.5kg, and each refill gives 5–7 hours of continuous heat.

Before you buy
The questions
people ask.
How long does a refill last?
Each 1kg refill gives 5–7 hours of continuous heat. Slide the lid on when you go in and the same block lights again next time.
What comes in the box?
The El Niño fire pit, its lid, a heat base, one 1kg Natural El Niño refill and a nylon carry bag with handles.
Can I use it on a table?
Yes. El Niño is a table top fire pit: 18cm across, 22cm tall and 3.5kg. Stand it on a stable surface and treat it like a real fire, because it is one.
Can I take it camping?
That's what the carry bag is for. Wild camping, canoeing, fishing, or the balcony at home.
Which refill does it take?
Only the El Niño refill: a 1kg block, 11.5cm across and 10cm high, sold in packs of two, Natural or Citronella. The 4.5kg refill for El Campo and El Fuego is a different size and does not fit, so check the pack says El Niño before you order.
How do I light it?
Light the visible centre wick with a normal lighter. No kindling, no firelighters, no blowing. You get heat in seconds and full flame in five to thirty minutes.
Is it safe around children and pets?
Treat it like a real fire, because it is one. Supervise children and pets, stand it on a stable heat-safe surface out of reach, and let it cool fully before anyone touches or moves it.
Can I use it indoors?
No. Burning it indoors or in an enclosed space is not safe — fire risk and combustion fumes. Outdoors, well ventilated, only.
What if a refill gets wet?
Don't light it. Wax that has taken on water can spit flame. Keep refills dry and out of the weather, and replace any that got soaked.
What is the wax actually made of?
100% biodegradable vegetable wax, from audited suppliers. It is a renewable crop rather than a felled tree, and it is safe to store, relight and dispose of.
Warranty and returns?
Register your pit on the warranty page as soon as it arrives; that is what activates cover.
For a return, a fault or anything damaged in transit, email customercare@ecofuego.com and they will tell you where you stand and sort it out. Faulty or mis-supplied items are on us.
